Barton springs pool and pigeons.

We went to Barton springs pool today. It looks like a river with dams at either end. It even has a diving board! I'll take a pic next time I'm there. This is a pic of a gathering of pigeons just up from the pool area near a trashcan. I had never seen so many pigeons gathered in one place! It was awesome! There were more but a bunch of them flew away before I got the pic.

Interviews and park days.

Hi, It's been awhile since I've updated everyone! Let's see, not much has happened since I last wrote. Since last time I've had three interviews, One with subway, One with Olive garden for a Server position and One with a different Olive garden for a Server assistant/Busser position. So far None of them have panned out I haven't heard back from any of them. Subway and the first olive garden were early last month, and the second Olive garden was last week. I got a email yesterday from Olive garden saying "That after careful consideration we will not be offering you a position here." or something like that. The only problem is, They didn't state which olive garden the email was from. So I'm not giving up just yet on olive garden.

So, We've been enjoying the warm weather here. We've gone out tanning by the pool side quite a few times this month so far. The pool is lovely! The hot tub is pretty wonderful too! :). Except for when it rains or a rare cool front comes in, The weather has been pretty consistently in the 80's since Middle of march. So it's been perfect pool weather! lol. I'll be needing a new swimsuit soon as the one I have is wearing out from such frequent use. I've never had a swimsuit do that before :P.

The home school park days have been so much fun! I love hanging out with Cela, and when she's not there, I enjoy hanging out with all of the other adults! I learn such cool stuff hanging out with fellow home/unschoolers! This last park day, Google maps led us to the wrong park, so we drove around in the vicinity of the park we were looking for for nearly an hour! We found it after I texted google from my phone and then entered the address I got into the GPS. Then we found the park! YAY!! lol. After we said hello to the other homeschoolers, we went and played some Frisbee in a open field part of the park. There was a drainage ditch about two to three feet wide that you had to cross to get to the field. I jumped across it and then we played some Frisbee. We didn't play very long since it was very hot out. On the way back to where the other homeschoolers were, I did a better jump back across the drainage ditch. But, boy did the landing hurt! 'Cause I landed one one leg and the impact sent pain all through the lower part of my leg and all through my left arm as I wrenched the muscles from my hand all the way to my shoulder to keep from falling down. I was very pleased with my landing though :-P. I was very sore from the jump the next day.

We would of gone to a butterfly release today but it was 50 miles from here and we didn't have the gas. 50 miles really isn't that far of a drive, Unless you don't have the money to pay for the gas (duh!) lol. Other then that we don't really have any plans for today that I know of. It's beautiful outside and just a little chill. But it's supposed to warm back up in the next couple of days. Yay! :P.

Well, That's all that's really been going on in my life. The rest is pretty much same ol' same ol'. Hope everyone has a wonderful day! Till next time! Byebye! :)

Kite Festival and phone troubles.

Well, Not a lot has been going on lately. Yesterday we went to a Kite festival at zilker park here in Austin. We meant to get there by 10am, But didn't actually get there till noon. It took us an hour to find somewhere to park and the spot we found was at least 1 mile from the park. It took us about half an hour to walk to the park. The bright side of us having to park so far away is... We found the Barton springs pool! YAY!! lol.  The festival was awesome! There had to of been hundreds of awesome kites in the air. And there were thousands of people there at the park. There was music playing and all kinds of venders there, To bad we didn't have any money with us to buy anything. Me and Daddy took pics, They're all on his blog. So I won't be posting them on mine :) (Here's the link to his blog if you want to see them, http://ramblemans.blogspot.com/2012/03/pics-kite-festival-austin-tx.html). It was a gorgeous day out as well which just added to the awesome-ness of the day yesterday.

A couple of days ago I dropped my phone in the toilet (Stupid!!) and fried it. Of course I did that just a couple days before I was going to do my follow-ups! (Can't believe I did that!!) So I tried to transfer my number and service to an old phone of daddy's but I needed a new SIM card for the old phone. So daddy called the customer care line and waited on hold for a little over 30min to talk to them. Now they're sending me a new SIM card, It should be sent in 3-5 days. So meanwhile I have no phone so I can't do any follow-ups on my applications because they would need a phone to contact me at and I don't have one right this moment. As soon as I do I'll be following up on each and every application I've put in since starting the job hunt a few weeks ago.

We now have a cat tree for our kitties. Just got it this afternoon. Mango loves it! Twitch hasn't tried it yet. She's been passed out on the back of the sofa for a few hours now. Mango is passed out on the cat tree.

Well I've decided that eventually I want to go to school/Apprentice for, Cosmetology(Again), Baking and patisserie, Pet grooming and Massage Therapy. It's a good thing I like school and that I have a lot of years ahead of me still.

Well that seems like a good place to end, So Good night/Good morning :). Baibai.

Park day and wireless internet

So daddy joined a Austin unschool email group a few days ago. And we went to a park-day yesterday that they organized and got to meet some of them. Me and Eldin met and walked around the park with a girl called Cela. Turns out that me and her have at least a little bit in common which is pretty cool. The park was pretty big. It had a man-made lake in the middle of it that had a whole bunch of ducks and geese in it. I don't think I've ever seen that many ducks and geese in one place before. Then when Cela and here family had to leave, Me, Eldin and daddy went to play some Frisbee just down from the playground. That was pretty fun. After park-day we had Lunch at Jack-in-the-box. It was really good! Then we stopped at H.E.B and picked up some peanut butter and bacon and then came home. Today so far all we've really done is go to the bank and come back home. We're going to go work out at our little fitness room later. Oh! Me and Eldin are now going to have broadband wireless just like daddy! We're having it installed tomorrow 3-2-12. It'll be nice not having to worry about whether our connection is gonna stay or disappear. Well That's all I got for now. Hope you enjoy! Have a wonderful day, Byebye!  :-)

Random Ramblings and Looking for work.

Hi, Long time no write :-P. We have settled in pretty well to our new life in Austin Texas. It's been hard adjusting to life without mama but we're doing it. We went to Zilker park a few days ago and loved it. It's such a pretty park. We tried to play Frisbee but 1. it was to windy and 2. we were trying to play with a .98cents Frisbee. So that didn't work out too well. But then we went and walked along the hiking path and a pedestrian bridge across the river. We got to see people kayaking and river surfing which was awesome! We also saw a White crane/Egret thing on a branch near the water. So that was a fun day! Now we have a better Frisbee but the weather hasn't cooperated with us, so we haven't been able to play Frisbee yet.

Every other day we go down to the workout room and exercise. Otherwise we hang out at the apartment or in the hot-tub, and sometimes we go to the store.

We walked down to the library yesterday. It was a really nice library :).  It even had Manga that I've heard of before and It also had a Dog Bible which I thought was cool.

Today is workout day so we will be doing that later. Earlier today we went and checked out a arcade called Pinballz, It was pretty awesome!

I have been looking for work for a month now though I haven't been looking very hard. All I've done so far is put applications in online. Today I put in a few applications to Starbucks. If they haven't called in a few days I will go in and do a follow up in person on my application. If they don't have any positions available I'll do the same at McDonald's and Taco-bell and Pizza hut in turn. So I will be trying much harder now to get a job.

We just got our apartment sprayed against roaches earlier today, Since we keep seeing one here and one there Daddy decided that we should tell the apartment head and they sent a person out here to spray along the baseboards. Well that's about all that's been going on for now. Bye Bye and Thanks for reading <3.

Everything that's happened since I last posted.

Well, A lot has happened since I last posted. We stayed at the Buffalo in and suites on December 1st and 2nd. It was nice! They had a saltwater pool and a regular hot-tub! The pool water actually didn't taste to bad :P. Me and Eldin stayed at the hotel on the 2nd by ourselves while mama and daddy finished the sale at the house. It was kinda boring really. Then we left Missouri on December 3rd, With just what we could fit in the car. So everyone but the driver had there legs bent at weird angles to fit into the car. Me and my brother each had a cat in a carrier on our laps as well. We stopped at the Over-pass McDonald's for lunch, It was awesome! The cats were not happy campers until we got to the second motel we stayed at on the trip to Austin. We let them out of the crates that night. They were sooo happy. We had Pizza for dinner that night ;P. Then the next day we all piled back into the car to finish the trip to Austin. I don't remember where we stopped to eat lunch that day. So after 5-6 hours of driving we finally arrive in Austin! We made it to the motel we planned on staying at for 14 days and payed $700 something for it. The room wasn't bad, The cats got to get out of there crates, So they were pretty happy. We had to make what felt like 10 trips from the car upstairs to the room loaded with stuff just to empty the car. We were exhausted by the time we finished unpacking the car! I think we went to Wal-mart after we rested for a bit. Ya' know we had to pick up some food to cook while we stayed there. One night we stayed there we got take-out from Chili's. It was awesome because we only had to walk like 0.5mi to get there.

Me and mama walked to the target that was near the motel a few times, one of those times we bought Eldin some brand new roller blades. We also walked to the Walgreen's that was in the same plaza to get cigarettes and snacks. Me and Eldin also walked to target and Walgreen's by ourselves one time just to look around the stores. Then another day me and mama walked to the temp agency next to target called "Man Power" and found out we could just apply there online.

We applied for a apartment with Fort branch at Trumans landing, They are a Restricted income based apartment complex. They assured us that we had a place there. That they were just dotting the I's and crossing the T's. Well because the process for the paperwork was taking so long we had to pay for an extra 3 nights at the motel. We even had to take Eldin's Christmas present (the roller blades) back to the store so that we could pay for another night at the motel. Which left us with barely anything left to spend on anything else. Then on Tuesday the 20th we go in thinking that we were going to be signing the lease right? Well we get there and they tell us that because of our projected income (from jobs we didn't even have yet) Put us over the income limit. So for a week and a half they jerked us around assuring us that we had it only to tell we might make to much if me and mama were working full-time. So Mama asked them if they knew of any place that we could move in today because we didn't have the money to stay at the motel any longer and They referred us to where we live now.

We got the apartment that day, but because it was after noon that we got it, we still had to pay for one more night at the motel. Which we could do since we now had a place to live. So we unpack the trunk full of stuff we had packed earlier that day. Into the apartment. Then we go back to the motel and pack up a bunch more stuff from the motel to the car. Later we go to Little Ceasers to get some Supper and Soda. It was delicious! Just a little bit after that I went to take a bath.

Just after getting out of the bath and getting ready to watch offline videos on my laptop when mama starts making snoring like sounds. I thought she was joking at first, Until she wasn't responding to daddy talking to her. At which point I start telling daddy to call 911 because she wasn't breathing. We had a whole fiasco with the 911 operator. He asked our address where we were staying and we gave it to him, Then he said that his computers showed that it wasn't a valid address. Then asked for the phone number of the place we were at so daddy gave that to him. He then said that it showed that it wasn't a valid phone number (or something like that) then asked if we had a card with the address on it. We didn't but we knew the address and told him again. He must have found it because then he said that the paramedics were on there way.

Daddy handed me the phone when he started so I could relay what the gut was saying and so daddy could do the Chest compressions with both hands, But I was so shaken up that I couldn't relay anything and handed the phone back. So daddy had to do the Chest compressions one handed. I watched for the EMS. After the EMS got there one of the cops took me outside and asked me my family's birthdays and names. He was impressed that I knew my parents birthdays and birth years. He stood outside with me and talked about various things until the Civilian help people got there and asked me The same things as the cop did.

The cop let me use his jacket for a bit and the civilian help people gave me a blanket to use. After the EMS had taken mama down to the ambulance we followed the civilian help people to the hospital ER and found a parking garage to park in. Then we went in to the ER and waited to be told what happened. A nurse called us back to wait in a more private room. We waited for the doctor and talked about what mama would of wanted. That was sad :`(.

Then the doctor came in and told us that she had had a heart-attack. And that she was in a coma and that she had probably been without air to her brain for to long causing brain damage, And that her heart was really weak. Then we got to go see her for the first time since she was put into the Ambulance. It was very sad to see her like that. Then we went home and tried to sleep some.

So then she was in the ICU on life support From the 21st to the 29th. In that time They found out she was having seizures so they gave her meds for that, Then they did a EKG and found out that her heart was very weak and it looked like it had been for a long time.(they also said that the weakness could of been caused by the CPR). Then they later told us that the type of heart-attack that she had was called V-Fib. Then they did an EEG and found out that she was having constant brain seizures. So they gave her meds for that too. But the meds didn't seem to be calming them down at all. During that week in the ICU on life support, She had another V-Fib heart-attack.

Her Mother and Brother came during that week and visited her and us. They got here on the 28th(I think) and the next day the doctor talked with all of us about her condition and how what she's suffering from people don't recover from. It was talked about in a private little conference room. We all told him that she wouldn't want to live very long like this and that we should turn the life support off(which was very hard to say) and that if she had another Heart-attack not to resuscitate her.

Her family stayed here at a hotel from the 28th of Dec. to the 1st of Jan. Then daddy's sister came on the 1st and left yesterday at 4:30am. During that time there has been no change in her condition since taking her off of life-support. Mama's brother Gary paid the crematorium fee for us. So when she does pass on, We have that all taken care of for us. Her dad gave us $800 originally for the cremation and urn, But her brother and his wife didn't want us using HIS money for that so they paid for it and so we got $800 to spend on getting us presents for a late Yule. Daddy's sister who came on Sunday, bought us a couch and lounge chair. Then we find a really nice desk out by the dumpsters. It took all four of us (Me, Daddy, Eldin and Aunt Michelle) to get it back. It was definitely worth the effort.

Dealing with all this AND having just moved here, It's been hectic these last few weeks. We've been very busy not only visiting the Hospital but also Paying bills, Getting food stamps applied for, Getting furniture when we can afford it, Shopping for food and cook-ware, Setting up a bank account, And lots of other stuff too. We've just been on the go constantly since this happened. Mama is now also under the care of a hospice. She's still in the room in the hospital, But as soon as a room opens up in the hospice she'll be taken there. Now one of our list friends Mary is coming tomorrow afternoon to visit.

Me and Eldin now have our Brand new Roller Blades. We're very happy about that. We went to the YMCA that is really close by here and took a tour and found out that for low-income people it is very inexpensive to join and get a membership. And all of this is the shortened version of what has been going on since I last wrote :P. So we've been very very busy. Byebye. Suppers ready so I got to go :).

What I've been up to in the last few months.

Hey, How's everyone been? It's been a while since I've wrote anything. Well, Lately we've been preparing to move to Austin Texas in the beginning of December. We're moving with just what will fit in the car. So we've been going through all of our stuff and deciding what we absolutely want to keep and what we can give to the thrift shop in town. We are now down to two cats. We put moon and latte down because they were un-adoptable. Moon was to old to adopt out and latte was scared of everything. So, that was hard but had to be done. Mango is getting very big now. He was neutered sometime last month, I believe. We got harnesses for twitch and mango, so that when we stop at a rest stop we can take them out of the carriers without worrying about them taking off. Cause you see we got leashes to go with the harnesses so they will be firmly attached to us at all times. We are going to be staying at a motel for a couple of weeks while we look for a apartment and while we look for work. Really looking forward to that!

Up until the middle of this week, I hadn't been sticking very well to my healthy way of eating. I was binging on Candy and soda and pasta and bread and feeling like crap. But I'm back on track now, Eating Just Meat/Fat/Eggs. And I'm feeling great again. My typical Breakfast is, Two Over Easy Eggs, One Large Burger Patty and Two to Three Pieces of Bacon. Keeps me full for hours!

Just recently I watched all three twilight movies that are out on dvd. I thought they were excellent! And I think that Bella should of chosen the werewolf Jacob. Not only was Jacob better looking then Edward, but Jacob's so sweet too. I think he would of been the better choice. Anyways now I'm totally hooked on Twilight! After we move and I have some money, I'm going to buy all the Twilight books. Because I know that the book is always better then the movie.

Well, That's all that's been going on lately. Got to go eat something I'm starting to get Hungry. Talk to you all later! Min'na baibai!
