I promised pictures of Barton springs pool, So here they are. See what I mean? It looks just like a river.
So I got my Hair cut on thursday may 3rd at the Avenue Five Cosmetology school on Burnet rd in Austin. I got it cut to chin length blunt. My stylist was Lauren and she did a wonderful job. I absolutely adore it! Here's a before and after pic with side view of after!
Friday may 4th we went down to Slick Willies Family Pool Hall and played two hours of pool which equated to 6(?) games. I only won 1 or 2 of those games. It was a blast!
I still haven't heard anything back from the last interview I had at TX Land and Cattle steak house. It's now been a little over two weeks since the interview. So unless by some chance they call early next week, It's looking like I'll have to go down town and apply at some places there in person. Not really looking forward to that. It scares the pants off of me to go into new places/buildings.
I've decided that if I haven't found a job by the end of may, I'll start the application process to go to Avenue Five cosmetology school. I'll have to get grants but that shouldn't be to hard, right? It looks like a awesome school, Much better then my school was. Much higher tech. I'll work harder this time around in school. I'll ask questions and practice more styling techniques. They're cosmetology course is 11months, where as mine was 9months. So whether I apply to go soon or not for a few months, I'll definitely be going to this school!
So do you guys like my new header and background? My dad helped with the header and the background image I found on photobucket. The background image is the Anime version of Taurus, From the zodiac :).
Baibai! ttyl.
I really like the header! LOL.
ReplyDeleteHaircut looks nice and I'm wishing you success in whatever you and life work out.
I think the header looks great. I am not so much into anime but Morg told me she really liked it when she saw it.
ReplyDeleteWhen you turn in an app, find out the name of the person that does the hiring and give him or her a call in 2 to 3 days. Ask the person if a decision has been made and if not, make sure he or she knows you are very interested in working there. Do not just sit back and wait for a call--it won't work that way. And with restaurants, the best time to contact (unless otherwise instructed) is between 2 and 4 o'clock. I know it is scary at first but it gets a lot easier after one or two applications and calls. You can do it.
